FISHING:

Fishing improved just a bit, with a lot of Sailfish spotted on the surface and some of them resulting in hook-ups. Capt. Julio on the “Azteca” reported some activity at about 20 miles south of the island and managed to have to hook ups, both of them released, while Capt. Omar on the “Sun Dancer” had some hook-ups along the Pie de la Cuesta strip, both areas with small groups reported; many other boats encounter large numbers of bonitos in all other areas. Some boats are reporting red tide closing in something we were dreading but expecting anyways due to the long water currents going thru our path.
